Good idea. Maybe not the clothier though. Maybe the dryad.

That's why she's mine now.

Works like a charm, by the way. No monsters up there now, not even harpies. I guess I should stay out of there on blood moon nights though.

AROOOOOOOOO.

In other news, I built a proper public storage. That chest meddling was getting tedious.

Had to layer my entire base with cobalt bricks to avoid damage.

Re: Terraria Thread 2

They need to lower the area distance spawn, last blood moon: I tried to lure all the monsters out to one side so the wraiths didn't kill my NPCs, not only did they do that, but the clowns wound up wrecking half my town, pretty much what got me to add the cobalt reinforcing.
And all we get? a clown suit, a bloody clown suit.

Also, I'm gonna assume you guys haven't use music boxes yet and give you a tip, be careful with placing them on platforms, it causes them to duplicate rapidly.
(and if you don't know how to record music, its pretty simple: the music box goes into your accessory slot(s), once its recorded (you stay in the area with the music you want with the box equipped), you can either keep it as an accessory, or place it as furniture. Even hook up wires to it if you want to, though you don't have to).

I hope you used cobalt ore, not cobalt bricks. Bricks can be blown up with bombs.

I used both.
Got a ton of bricks from 2D.

edit: I hate it cuz its blue though.

Btw: little known fact, you can mine hellstone with explosives after you kill the wall.
Oh, and uh: hallow and corruption spreads is easy to stop if you know how, just find a nice patch of grass, and place a pole of bricks in the dirt, instant stop. Pretty funny, it'l spread through dirt surface, rocks and sand, but not dirt itself.

I think dig covered that by making walls out of cobalt coated in cobalt brick with lava everywhere. The server beats goblin armies by itself :) , never had a clown problem that I was aware of.

Explosives attached to pressure pads that sit directly above them. However to avoid letting slimes or bunnies set this off you'd probably have to manually reset it every night.

I think you're better off with lava pits instead of minefields.

Like a pressure plate on some active stone blocks above a lava pit. Surprise!

Well obviously? Its a shame though, the current system is a BIT limited.
If you wanted though, explosives above the field over a field of bombproof things.

We built our own snow biome and a house for Santa. Looks awesome.

Wyverns are less common and will be less likely to spawn near the ground.
