I would rethink that plan bro.

Well, I for one am sitting in a rubber boat after Germany got some heavy floods. Meaning it is completely covered with water now. No land in sight but at least I have my laptop and some solar collectors to keep it powered. Won't run out of water or food soon since I find stuff floating around now and then. Oh look, there's a fridge over there. Dinner!

I'm currently residing in the Southern Alps with my family and a few of my friends who survived the earthquake, subsequent tsunami and zombie outbreak. It's pretty cold up here but the strong wind gusts and scree slopes should prevent the zombies from getting at us easily if they get this far inland. There are plenty of native plants we can eat as well as Deer, Thar and Chamois to hunt.

We've fortified the hut we're using with plenty of scree stone and matagouri and added ports from which we can shoot from so if they do manage to reach our now-fortified hut, they can say hello to our friends Messrs. Weatherby, Winchester and Smith & Wesson.

Hmmm, nazi zombies. I don't think that i will actually have to worry about zombies, just think about it, the cold would freeze their muscles and skin, making them unable to move. Keeping away from the Attu and Kiska islands incase the japansese zombies decide to rise (just in case). Will probably reside in Anchorage for the time, if needed we can move all the way to Barrow, the most northern city in Alaska. Just started thinking about weaponry, luckily there is an abundance in anchorage.

The Internet connection in heaven is really very good, just like everything else. It's very pretty up here--y'all should totally join us!

Oooh, people with cool accents are singing in Latin. I should go join them.

YOU WOULD.

You have your zombies from Dead Sno, Call Of The Dead (zombies map in COD), and Xusha's testimony that she has zombie brethren up in the frigid mother Russia to disprove the fact that you can escape the zombies by going north. I'd say the more north you go the more dangerous it is, everybody knows you have to deal with zombie polar bears zombie narwhals if you go as north as Alert or even Pond Inlet. Play it smart and go to the heat of the Mojave.

Great. But the zombies in the mojave will just mummify and last longer, not to mention the smell. Hmm, Im pretty sure Barrow would be safe, northern most point, in the us, not a very large population. That would prevent infection on a large scale.

If you're already north I'd suggest heading for Alert. With only 5 permanent residents you'd be basically alone, and its a military base basically on the North pole so you'd be pretty safe. Or you could just

You guys should get a flamethrower. I picked one up at what was left of the fire department after escaping from my earlier pterodactyl predicament and I've been fending off bone lords with it for about an hour and a half.

Right now I'm locked up in my house, pretty much everyone I know is dead.
Oh, and Inky is a zombie: that cute little furball is trying to eat me alive! ^_^
Its a good thing I was able to stash a survival storage of food for this.
So yeah, talk to you guys in a bit.

I'm with Juli up here now. I jumped in a lake to try to get away from the zombies.... and I woke up there.

Anywho, it's good to know that my pastor was kind enough to let everyone take communtion Sunday morning.

I'm not so much for the latin thing, and there's so much white here it hurts my eyes. Paper and pencils are in abundancy, though, so I'm good.

Well, turns out sharks do like to bite rubber boats. Which means some shark just bit and destroyed my boat. I had to search for a different means of transportation.

So I'm riding a shark now. Life's good.

Re: May 22nd, 2011

Post by Peregrine on Tue May 24, 2011 6:00 am

So get this you guys.

I was running for my life from a beholder when a volcano erupted from underneath me. Fortunately I was wearing a bubble shield I stole from a now disused top secret laboratory and was able to survive. Unfortunately my bubble shield is now depleted, I dropped my chaingun, and I went soaring through the sky until I landed on the back of some shark along with someone I can only assume is a nutcase. He keeps trying to talk to me in what I can only assume is German, and I keep trying to talk to him in Icelandic, but neither of us are getting through to the other. If only we had some common language we both could speak.

Post by Tim Hortans on Tue May 24, 2011 6:07 am

So I was walking near the shore when I realized the zombies had taken over my town and I found a shark. Being a shark domesticator I quickly made it my steed and rode off into the sunset. That is, of course, until some nutjob fell out of the sky onto my shark. He's trying to speak to me in some weird language. I took some german classes but I must be rusty cuz he doesnt understand me.

Tim, Dig, Pere... why don't you all try English? I mean, there's a CHANCE you'll be understood, so why not?

Also, why exactly is "shark" now the preferred mode of transportation?

Oh, brb. The group singing in Hebrew is just starting a song that I actually recognize.

You're right on that count--we usually prefer dolphins. They're a bit trickier to stay on, since their scales aren't made out of razor blades, but they make better company.
